Wednesday 22 April 5 pm: Instagram Livestream with Clara Bolle

Who are those artists participating in (UN)REAL? Wie zijn die kunstenaars van (UN)REAL eigenlijk? Wat are their backgrounds and what is inspiring them? Wednesday 22 April at 5 pm artist Clara Bolle will take over our Instagram and host an Instagram Livestream. Tune in and find out more about her and her work 'Metamorphine / Daphne' that is exposed during our first exhibition (UN)REAL.

A little glimpse? For Metamorphine / Daphne artist Clara Bolle has asked five individuals who have experienced significant medical transformation to create their own new mythology, a new story of mind and body, shared with the artist in interviews. What is presented here are the results of the collaboration between the artist and the participants. Together they made a series of paintings and accompanying poems.

Clara Bolle is a Rotterdam-based philosopher, poet, and visual artist. She occasionally holds lectures and talks about the philosophy of art, cultural critique and art history. Her practice revolves around the question: what does it mean to be your body instead of having a body?
